Pin that forces the material through the die in cold extrusion, reducing the diameter and lengthening the body of the part.

Technical reference image. The quote takes into account your exact standard, size and drawing.
The extrusion pin pushes the material through a calibrated opening of the die, making the metal 'flow' and take on a smaller diameter and a longer body — this is the cold extrusion operation, used to form shanks, spigots and reductions without chip removal. It works under extremely high pressures and therefore concentrates a good part of the wear of the tool set.
Made of fine-grain carbide or high-alloy tool steel, with polished tip and working surface to reduce friction and heating. KS offers the pin in different geometries (the line covers several sizes and models) and maintains continuous replenishment of this wear item.
