This set brings together the tooling needed to produce drywall screws (plasterboard): bugle head punches, Phillips recess forming, body dies and the point (needle point for drywall or drill point for metal profile). Selling the matched set ensures the stations work in harmony — head, recess and point in the same tolerance — which translates into a screw that drives in well and does not strip under the screw gun.
The working items are carbide/tool steel according to the function and wear of each station. KS supplies the set and, above all, handles replacement item by item, making it possible to change only the worn station without replacing the entire set — which reduces tooling cost in high-volume production.
