The bent shank tap has the long, curved shank ('cane-shaped') characteristic of high-output nut tapping machines: the nut, once tapped, slides along the shank and is accumulated/ejected continuously, without stopping the machine to unload. It is the classic solution for tapping nuts at very high volume with uninterrupted flow.
The cutting portion is high-speed steel (HSS/HSS-E) with the curvature and shank length adjusted to the tapping machine model. It requires entry geometry and coating suited to the material to last. KS supplies the bent shank tap according to the machine and the thread, and replenishes the line's wear tooling.
