Thread rolling die (pair of flat blades) that rolls the thread by cold deformation — includes ChipBoard and self-tapping (DIN 7970).

Technical reference image. The quote takes into account your exact standard, size and drawing.
The thread rolling die (flat die) is the pair of flat blades that forms the thread by cold rolling/deformation: the screw body passes between two dies with the thread profile in negative and the thread is 'pressed' outward, without removing material. This leaves the thread stronger than a machined one (the steel fibers follow the thread form), with a better finish and much higher productivity. KS works with dies for metric, inch, ChipBoard (particleboard) and self-tapping threads per DIN 7970 and equivalents.
Made of high-toughness cold work tool steel, with ground profile and surface treatment against wear. The life of the thread rolling die depends on the correct matching of the pair and on the machine setup. KS supplies dies by standard/profile and replaces the pair maintaining compatibility with the rolling machine.
